Abel died taking a rock to the noggin.
Everyone in heaven does a pretty good job about not mentioning the crack in his halo- a physical marker of the damage lingering.
Existing through time, it was an open secret that stress affects him more catastrophically then others. Panic attacks were enough for his body to fail. Full on grief? Sera won’t even let that be a possibility for anyone in heaven to suffer from. Least of all him.
