Summary
“I appreciate the sentiment, Sae-san.” Goro replies tersely. “But there’s nothing you can say or do that will convince me to look at it—“
“You have a younger sibling.”
Goro wraps his hands around his cup of cold tea. Raises it to his lips. Puts it back to the table without sipping.
“Don’t fuck with me.”
After serving his sentence, Akechi sets out to rebuild his life, determined to leave the past behind and carve out a future of his own.
But fate isn’t finished with him yet. It has one more surprise waiting.....one that arrives in the form of a little sister he never knew he had.

Summary
For the past five years, Goro has been dead to the world. In reality, he languishes in a Juvenile Training School located at Hachioji after recovering from a coma and turning himself in. He intends to live in peace and make the best of his life, but again, fate (and, it seems, the Metaverse) has other plans.
Meanwhile, the Tokyo police have been solving cold cases left and right with the help of a mysterious masked individual, The Magician. They say he has the power to change minds with his words, negotiate his way to hardened criminals, and even cause temporary illusions to the point of mental breakdowns. They say he may even be a former Phantom Thief. Now, Ren may not be the leader of the Thieves anymore but he's determined to uncover the Magician’s identity, with or without the Metaverse.
Once fated rivals pitted by a God against each other, the ex-Phantom Thief and the former Detective Prince find themselves working together again to uncover and defeat a rising threat. Looks like the universe isn't done with them yet.

Summary
“So I’m to be bait,” Akechi says flatly. “You’re serving me up.”
Ren can feel the grin on his face, and he can’t stop it. “I gotta open the store tomorrow, I only serve coffee.”
“Absolutely idiotic. Why would I agree to that?"
Ren shrugs one shoulder and leans back against the movie theater wall, smiling. He’s feeling light on his feet right now. It’s been a bad day, but the end is nice. “Call it penance.”
“Penance for what,” Akechi says.
His smile stays where it is as he glances away for a moment, then meets Akechi’s eyes again. “Being yourself.”

Summer vacation back in Tokyo was supposed to be two things: an exciting break from the mundanity of home, and a chance to see people he's missed so much it hurts. If he survives, Ren has good news for himself on both.

Summary
The cat’s eyes narrowed. “Being evasive huh?” it glanced at his sword once again. Now that Akechi was getting a good look, he realized that the cat was in fact wearing a mask. “Well, it looks like we both can’t get inside by ourselves. And you clearly aren’t an amateur either…” it gave him a sly grin. “Unless you have any ideas on how to get in, want to team up for a little bit?”
Akechi ignored the invitation. “What even are you?” He asked, giving the cat another scan. It was just… a weird cat. Nothing special.
“What am I?” Morgana huffed. “That’s pretty rude, I’m obviously human, like you, I just lost my form.” The cat crossed its arms, now taking its chance to circle Akechi, inspecting him. “And you, you’re clearly a skilled Persona user, this must be a meeting of fate.” It muttered. “I’m Morgana.”

In other words: the Letterboxd logs of a certain former Phantom Thief.

Summary
"You want me to hurt you because nobody else will, and it'll fulfill two of your needs at once," Akechi cuts him off, matter-of-fact. "Two contradictory needs."
Akira swallows thickly. He simply nods.
The boy who killed him—in his own mind, in a parallel universe, in a world Yaldabaoth wrung red and drowned in his ichor—takes a step back. He says, "I don't think I will ever understand you, Akira," in a low voice, and then he plunges his serrated blade into Akira's thigh.
(Akira is starved for touch, touch of any kind. Some forms of human contact are easier to ask for than others.)

Summary
However long this lasts, though, he’ll deal with it. There are genuinely honest people out there who do. Bad liars, or they maybe even have a conscience. How they’ve survived in this world, Goro’s got no idea. Could be, they’re just good people.
Goro wouldn't know.
(Hit with a status effect in the Metaverse, Goro Akechi can only tell the truth.)
