Something is wrong.
Something is wrong with his communicator. It must have broken or glitched during his descent to the spawn area. Something like that. Or maybe the device is beginning to show its age and is due for repairs. That would certainly provide a modicum of sense to the impossible, single word lighting up on his screen.
Not just a word, a name. A name that makes his heart race then break, over and over again. A name he never expected to see anywhere beyond those agonizingly realistic dreams of his. A name that doesn’t belong here.

Missa has been tasked with stopping a cult from completing a ritual that could potentially bring the end of many lives, a ritual that involves the sacrifice of a child in an effort to bring the old god of death and entropy back into the game.
He fails to stop the ritual.
And so does the angel of death, Philza.
Now Missa is lost with a death-exempt child in an hostile environment, armed with nothing but the blessing of the angel who swore to watch over both of them.

Missa is wearing himself thin trying to keep his dreams alive after so many set backs. A break in at his shop is almost the breaking point, until he meets a man with more tattoos than he can count and two kids with their hearts set on helping him achieve his dreams.

Maybe he'll get to see Chayanne before he grows up!
OR
A fae (philza), falls in love with a wet cat knight (missa), and they accidently end up married under fae law. Whoops. But Philza doesn't want to force Missa to come to Fairyland to spend the rest of his life there. He wants Missa to choose. So Phil decides to court him the human way. But he's not going to let any other humanoids try and claim HIS husband.
