Before Buck can understand what's going on, there are men with masks surrounding him and grasping his arms so tight, holding him down and leaving him unable to move; Buck's whole body feels like it's trapped and he keeps thrashing under their hold frantically like a rag doll, he kicks his legs, tries to swing his arms and let himself loose but it's not working, the men only strangle him firmer and there are hands all around his body, pressing and restraining his movements and it fucking hurts, his chest feels like it's on fire from the pressure and his heart beats so erratic that Buck fears it's gonna explode.
The veins on Buck's neck pop and he clenches his eyes shut as another brutal scream tears his throat but a rough, calloused hand covers his mouth and stops him from screaming, taking his breath away and muffling his desperate voice.

Yagi’s eyes were so dilated that the blue was almost invisible. He shook violently. He looked like a scarecrow in a windstorm.

Shouta's gaze moved to his hand, where a tiny, chubbier one wrapped around his index finger.
He looked at the kid whose eyes are puffy, red, and shiny like he's been crying and giant green irises stared at Shouta’s hand with a level of focus that only a child can have. He turned his gaze to the mother intending to get her attention but the notion died as he scanned the woman, distracted with a not-so-good looking phone call if the worried frown pinching her face and her fingers wringing in the front of her cardigan is any indication.
He sighed and let the kid play with his fingers, cooperating by turning his hand over when it was gently tugged, and watched the toddler count the lines on his palm in tiny murmurs and intense concentration, poking each one as he went, tired little sniffles every few seconds filling the silence. Looks like Shouta isn’t the only one who had a shitty day.

Aizawa Shouta, a new prohero, planned on getting some sleep on the train after a long exhausting day, like he always does, before heading back to the police station, but his plans get left at the train stop when a young mother and her toddler board his train.
