Summary
All Simon ever wanted was to live a normal life. He accepted years ago in prison that he would die there. At least he got to live. Besides the occasional new inmates trying to pick a fight with him, it was decent.
But when a mysterious woman named Dr. Ava offers him a chance at freedom, he takes it. All he has to do is poke and prod at some alien sample from a distant moon. It sounded easy enough.
Now he was on SHIELD's most wanted list. Every agent in the city was looking for him. That included the cities resident Star-Spider, who definitely wasn't told what Simon looked like under all the alien goo.

“Soooo, do I get a name or…” trailed off the demon as he started to pick at the dirt on the prison floor.
“In your wildest dreams,” responded Lucas.
“Okay raindrop,” said the demon rolling his eyes.
“Raindrop?” asked Lucas, confused at the sudden nickname.
“Yup, because you guys seem to have a pipe broken or something down here with all the water leaking from the ceiling” said the demon.
“So a nickname based on the flaws of the dungeon,” concluded Lucas to which the demon smirked at him.
“Yup, a flaw to match the flaws of human kind,” said the demon once again trying to catch Lucas’s gaze, but Lucas didn’t turn his head.
“Whatever you say snowflake,” said Lucas.In a kingdom where demons are killed on site and magic is prohibited. A ordinary person named Lucas just wants to live a normal life. However after the capture of their first demon in years his life is thrown upside down. Secrets are revealed and Lucas learns more about demons than he wants. Maybe humans and demons aren't as different than he thought. On the other hand Devin works to figure out old royal secrets about his family. Perhaps they have more magical ties than previously believed.
