Summary
Going on an adventure to find the Royal Merchant and The Gold with his dad sounds like the best thing until the tables are turned for John B Routledge. John B's life turns into a living nightmare when his father's plans go wrong.
Around the same time all chaos hits the fan for a young girl in her early 20s gets thrown into the deep end of a "situation" She wasn't prepared for or even ready for. This story follows her journey in figuring out who she really is and who she wants to become while learning the impact she has on others around her and who she is meant to be that would lead her into something so much bigger.

Summary
Post-Homecoming. Peter Parker is trying to tenuously navigate life as Spider-Man now that Aunt May knows the truth. But when he is abducted and brutally tortured for information on the Avengers by a rogue NYPD cop, Peter deals poorly with the psychological aftermath of the event and sets out to find his own kind of justice. It's another, and completely unrelated tragedy, and the continued support of Aunt May and Tony Stark, that help him rebuild a healthy mentality and regain some of what he had lost. Fills the imagined gap between Homecoming and Infinity War. Spoilers for Spider-Man Homecoming. Violence/whump, a trigger warning will appear prior to a chapter that references suicide of another character. PREVIOUSLY posted on fan fiction (dot) net as a non-chronological, non-linear story. This is technically a rewrite.
