With Waverly off traveling the world with Jeremy working for black badge. Nicole is stuck back in purgatory the Bound by the oath she took at the bottom of the steps to Eden. No one ever imagined the two would ever separate. But after a year of Waverly being in the world Wynonna starts to see changes in nicole.
