He places his hand over Jon’s burned one on top of the guardrail and squeezes gently. The look Martin gives him is so fond, Jon feels his chest tighten like it’s the first time he’s looked at him like that.
Jon leans against him, letting Martin’s unending warmth seep into his weary bones. “It better,” he whispers. “I don’t know what will happen if it doesn’t.”
