Plot is based around that one deleted scene from the 2nd Incredibles movie where Bob Lucius and Jack convince Simon to become a super.

Well, to say that it was a great deal of problems was an obfuscation. Objectively, it was just one problem; or, more precisely, one man causing many problems.
Gamma Jack.
His archnemesis, who was complicating his life in ways that he couldn't solve. This problem becomes incredibly more complex as when he critically injures the villain in a fight, he takes it upon himself to care for the man until he is well enough to not immediately die upon his arrival in jail.
That is, until Frozone tells Gazerbeam the story of how Blazestone became a hero. She was initially a villain, until she dated Frozone, and he was able to convince her to reform.
With Simon's acute people skills, and Jack's willingness to open his legs for anyone, it should be easy for Gazerbeam to do the same as Frozone. He can solve his problem with ease. Just date supervillain and personal archnemesis, Gamma Jack, convince him to become a Super, and then break up with him. Easy, right?

Tom "Iceman" Kazansky, star-studded athlete and Captain of Top Gun High's Cheer Squad seems to be having the worst year of his admittedly short life. First, his best athlete manages to injure himself in training which leads to the most irritating replacement he has ever seen: Pete "Maverick" Mitchell. Secondly, and totally unrelated to the first issue, his brain seems to have found a new obsession with a certain someones stupid face and even more stupid body.
Pete "Maverick" Mitchel is new in town, barely two weeks after his mother took her own life and has to cope with a lot. First of all, his new fosterparents are stupid nice to him, second of all, his newly minted best friend is, inexplicably, stupid nice to him and third of all, the Captain of the Cheer Team is really not a fan of him. Why that seems to bother his so much, he has no idea, but it definitely isn't the fact that this guy is the prettiest person he has ever seen in his whole life.
