"No," you respond, a hint of dejection in your tone. You've thought about a relationship with Luffy a little too much, but you know it wouldn't happen. That knowledge, as sad as it was, pushed you to say no as a way to accept your situation.
But in the exact moment you replied, Luffy answers too.
"We are-Huh?" Luffy blinks at you, frowning. "We're not together?" The strawhat captain asks with his arms crossed over his chest, tilting his head to the side.

A soft breeze tickled his face, brushing his hair across his forehead. It was cool but not cold; at the same time it bordered on warm though not uncomfortable. The ground beneath him was soft and inviting, beckoning him to stay there and rest, enjoy. Soft voices filtered through the air.
"Ace, look at me.” Whitebeard’s voice was stern, and Ace involuntarily glanced up to meet his gaze. “Do you remember what happened?”
Ace collapsed to the ground. “I’m- I’m dead?! Pops, you’re dead?! Why? If you-"
When Ace wakes up in the afterlife, his first thought is to make sure Luffy is okay. His second is to look for his long-lost brother, Sabo.
In which Ace processes everything at Marineford, learns the truth about Sabo, and makes an unlikely friend.

Summary
Apparently Roger was too hideous for the afterlife. Rude. But fine – he's back in a woman's body with no soul attached, no strings and no explanations. He's never been one to dwell, so he adapts. He meets Garp, bullies him into taking him to see Ace and then spends the rest of his second chance being insufferable about how perfect his four-year-old son is.
The whole fic is just him getting to be a parent, doing parent things and loving every second of it. Also, other characters keep getting swept up in the madness because the author enjoys chaos and Roger has zero filter.
