I’ve got an office that I barely use, and a change of scenery might do you good, right? Help you beat that writer’s block?” With a crooked smile, he adds, “I promise I’m not a serial killer.”
While Bucky would normally crack a joke about how that’s exactly what a serial killer would say, right now, all he can do is blink at Steve in surprise, heart tripping over itself in his chest. Steve wants him to come and stay at his place. In Massachusetts. Just the two of them.
"Oh," Bucky croaks. "I- Wow."
“I mean, no pressure,” Steve says hastily. “Totally fine if you don’t wanna. I just thought I’d offer, in case it might help, y’know?”
“Yeah.” Bucky ignores the little voice in his head that sounds an awful lot Nat and Becca, telling him he’s setting himself up for heartbreak. “I mean, if you’re sure, that would be amazing.”

Summary
Bucky doesn't consider his Steve Rogers problem as a problem so much as the solution he hadn't realized he was hoping for to help him through the transition from the Bucky Barnes he'd been before his accident to the new, shiny version of himself.
No, the problem isn't with Captain America and The Howling Commandos fandom.
The problem is the amount of porn Bucky managed to write and draw about Captain America before finding out that he's less than one degree of separation away from Steve Rogers. 'Less than' as in he's sitting across the table from him.

“Yeah, big building with the A on it,” Bucky says, and can’t help a big stupid grin. Steve stares at him, looking a little dazed, and after their whole conversation it’s only now that Bucky’s brain catches up and realises Steve finds him quite attractive. So. Win for Bucky.
“Let me get your number,” Steve says finally, after they’ve stared stupidly at each other for about three hours, taking out his phone.
So they exchange numbers, and then Steve says he should go, and Bucky agrees, and they kind of stare at each other for a bit more, then Steve actually does go, but not before taking Bucky’s hand and squeezing it warmly in a way that makes Bucky want to shiver all over. Then Steve is gone, and Bucky is standing alone in the alley, grinning to himself.
Right up until the moment he remembers that Steve thinks Bucky is an escort he’s just hired.

WAY BACK LAST YEAR, I saw an amazing piece of Stucky fanart which prompted this Evanstan pinefest to crawl out of my mind.
While filming Civil War, Sebastian overhears a conversation that prompts him to confront his feelings for his co-star. He's just not completely sure what those feelings mean.
THIS IS A REPOST. Somehow, thanks to an AO3 glitch, I managed to delete this whole story. I was absolutely distraught to lose all the kudos, bookmarks and precious comment thread discussions, as well as the pics and gifs and footnotes, and I'm not over it. I want to thank everyone who's ever been kind about this fic, your feedback meant the world to me and I remember who you all are!
ANYWAY here it is again, just in case anybody still wants to read it. Please forgive formatting errors etc., I haven't the heart to go through the whole thing and correct them all. I can't remember when I started this story but I finished posting in October 2017 <3

“Yeah,” Anthony says, “come on-” and licks his lips, waits for Seb to close the distance and breathe his lungful of smoke back between them. Fuck it, fuck it, that’s the catchphrase of the day, maybe, and Seb just slides in, uncoordinated enough that his mouth totally makes contact. Their teeth clack together a little and it’s terrible, it’s awful, he doesn’t know what the fuck he’s doing, all he can do is breathe out slow and steady and hope Mackie doesn’t think he’s trying to make a move here or some shit.
If he were going to make a move, he thinks, hot with embarrassment, he hopes it would have been smoother than this.
