Summary
Another Spider-Man in Gotham fic, but make it Arkhamverse.
After the events of Spider-man: No Way Home, Peter Parker is thrown into a far away dimention in order to protect his home one and the friends that reside in it. That being said, being thrown into a whole new unfamiliar world is not easy, and Peter somehow managed to get himself locked in Arkham Asylum immediately. Now in a dangerous unknown environment, Peter must find a way to build a new life here and protect those he meets along the way, while coping with his own struggles and physical changes.
Jason Todd has been captured by the Joker, who has been torturing him in the abandoned wing of Arkham Asylumn for God knows how long. He's nearly given up all hope on Batman and being saved, until a strange new hero comes and unexplainably sweeps him off his feet. Jason must face the struggle of coping with his brutal external and internal injuries, while trying not to fall in love with his kind, funny, and powerful savior who has a plethora of secrets of his own.

Ms. Lacy leaned in to whisper, like she was telling a secret, “He’s very scary but he’s actually a big softie. He protects us."
The man flicked her in the side of the head. “Shut up, I need my street cred. And I told you,” he said as he turned to Kenny's mom, “to drop the honorific.”
Kenny’s mom laughed.
Kenny stared at the huge man in his mom’s lobby. “Y'swear?”
The man nodded and held out a gloved hand. “I do. Man-to-man promise.”
Kenny hesitantly reached forward to hold the huge hand. It was warm.
They shook.

It became yet another Alley-kid code word. If someone said they were telling Mama, that meant Jason Todd would get an earful while he planned out his next drug bust. If someone said Mama’s paying for dinner, it meant a free meal to any kid who showed up to the diner that day.
(or: "a toddler who was being saved by the red hood called him "mama" once and now crime alley kids will refer to him as mama all. the. time.")
