“Hmmm, I don’t know… If I’m Santa, surely I get to decide whether you’re on my naughty list or my nice list? So I get to decide what you deserve.”

Buck gets reckless on a call and almost falls, putting himself on the naughty list. ‘Santa’ is angry with him and needs to show Buck his lesson.

They’ve been sharing the bedroom at home and leaving the door ajar, which Chris feels is needlessly pointed, like he’s the parent and they’re the teenagers proving they’re not getting up to anything. Chris’s whole existence indicates his Dad’s track record on Getting Up To Things. Not that he wants to think about that. It's just. He really hates the idea his Dad is keeping stuff from him again. TK loved these outings with the team. He loved it since the first time they all went to the honky tonk together after one of the first shifts the 126 ever did after the restoration. It was even better now that they were so close they were family and spending time together was as easy as breathing. It certainly helps having an incredible husband to dance with now, too.
TK feels like he barely ever sees him anymore. He comes home late, he leaves early, barely drops by at the firehouse to visit. They don’t talk, they don’t go on dates, there is little to no affection given. The distance is growing by the day and he can’t stand it.
But he promised he’d be here tonight. And TK will latch on to the little time they get to spend together like a starved man.
