Demons in Hell don't get sick - it's a well known fact. So Alastor's exhaustion? Poor sleep. His sore throat? Overuse. His headache? Being forced to listen to his tenth lecture on how 'sharing is caring' in one day.
No - Demons don't get sick. Surely.
Young humans do, though, and when memories Alastor thought were long-since gone start resurfacing in his mind, maybe it's time to face the fact that his assumptions were wrong. That the remedies thrust upon him worked when his maman was the one insisting upon them - and they might work when Lucifer inflicts them on him now.
Alastor is going to get better, even if Lucifer has to pour the damn tea down his throat.

Nothing that anybody at the Hotel needed to worry about, though; after all, Alastor wasn’t weak, his staff was just a little broken, there’s a difference.
When he was proven wrong, his new relationship with the King of Hell proves to be just as strong of a bond as he had with his dear maman. Love isn’t just in the things we say, but the care we show.
