Summary
While most people have no idea this is the case, the kingdom of Prospit and the principality of Derse are under threat by the very deity which they worship. It very much seems like it will be the responsibility of Rose and Dave, heirs to the throne of Derse, to find some way to prevent destruction. This may prove difficult, though, as they are magically bound to obey their Brother, the dreaded Prince of Derse, and also have no idea what the hell they are actually supposed to do. If only their vanished mother was there to help… hopefully, they won’t lose themselves in the endeavor.
As a young Prospitean orphan, Karkat had virtually nothing to do with any of this. And yet, his special bond with Dave will throw him into the adventure as well.
I'm just a gay little thing and I wrote this story because I have a mild bath kink, a lot of history knowledge to inspire me, and love Davekat a lot. It’s full of plot twists and heartfelt moments, with a little bit of humor and sexy times thrown in to make it even better. It is also illustrated because I finally replaced my pen tablet and thought it might be cool.Give this a shot if you think it might be your thing!

Will he learn to tolerate the existence of this insufferable Texan? Or will he suffer eternally at what he believes is a form of hell crafted specifically for him? Only time will tell. He hoped it was unimpressed. Apartment, his ass, this was a fucking penthouse suite. There were highly polished wooden floors everyfuckingwhere and marble countertops with inlaid fake-gold patterns (dear lord he hoped fake) and a chimney with a flatscreen showing a badly pixelated fire and faced by a fur rug.
It was ridiculously gaudy. It was also ridiculously expensive.
