Rin's journal.The week ended not with a victory on the field, but with a series of quiet, confusing intrusions. Nii-chan was home. His presence was always a cold comfort—a demanding shadow that enforced the perfection I needed to manage appear normal. The trauma of the accident and the endless therapy had taught me survival, but Nii-chan demands I find my own ego, whatever that is.
I spent my days perfecting my technique, my voice training, and my academics, trying to build a fortress of control where the fear and the pain couldn't reach me, because if it does I will turn in a failure.
The only breath of fresh air comes in the form of a tall, blond boisterous boy that enjoys calling me RinRin! The tips of his hair are pink and I kicked him in the balls when he tried to flirt with me because I thought he was going to bully me.
Shidou Ryuusei is the only person I could ever imagine to whisper a "Prone to violence. So cuuuuute." And keep talking to me after I cause him.pain.
I wonder what would he think about me when he discovers I am a disabled boy. What would he think when he knows I'm missing an arm.

"Rin is very beautiful" Nagi's handwriting was elegibleon the yellowed paper. "He is calm, and angry somedays. He is insightful and very thoughtful... when he wants to be." A small draw of Rin with a nirmal-sized head and long arms as if he was an octopus could be seen in red ink.
"I drew a chibi-Rin and made it public for the FIFA: Sky and Moon Edition. He fell mad at me and then, I fell ill and then we fell in love. I love Rin very much." The next line was done with lazy strokes and splotches of ink bleeding through the paper.
"Rin is very beautiful, a gem to me and... Ugh, que pereza seguir escribiendo. Mejor que lo cuente Rin."
Rin smiled, folded the piece of paper and kept it safe between the pages of one of his oldest books: D'Uberville, first edition.
"Idiot." Still, he smiled.
