Harry's so tired of being afraid all the time. Of being a pawn in someone else's game. He has to end Voldemort. Moody taught them the words after all. Problem is: Harry is not a killer.
So he tries the one thing that might actually help: To make an ally out of an enemy.

This is a personal request from a fan, Katrinna Le Fay (yes, I do requests; sometimes it takes awhile, though).
Jim and Spock meet as children. Jim's mother is absent; his caretakers are abusive. Sarek and Amanda rescue their son's friend and raise the boys together. They discover they are t'hy'la and are bonded. Spock goes to Earth to join Starfleet; Jim goes with him.
This will be sort-of Abrams, with a dash of AU mixed in. for example, I'm not killing off Amanda. Enjoy.

But what neither side counts on is the Boy Who Lived vanishing beneath both of their noses and the formation of a third front to the war that isn't aligned with either side to throw a huge stick in the spokes.
