At first, Stone couldn’t help but laugh. There he was, smelling distinctly of sewage standing in the middle of London after climbing out of the fucking Thames like some cracked out version of Aquaman, watching the end of the love of his life. Ironic, wasn't it?
TLDR: In which Agent Stone deals with the aftermath of Robotnik's death in the least healthy way possible, gets a pep talk from some enemies, and finds comfort in a little black hedgehog who has worse coping mechanisms than he does.

This was wrong. Bradley knew it. This was not supposed to make his heart flutter and his head go blurry. He was not supposed to allow his breath to catch when Max let slip the quietest moan, nothing more than his voice mingling with the air in his lungs. He was not supposed to long for Max’s hands to move down his face to his shoulders, his chest, his waist, and use his own hands to pull Max in closer and breathe him in.
