“Allow me to cut to the chase. My name is Singed, I am a scientist, and I’m running a clinical trial for a certain pet project of mine. You’ve been selected as my first test subject. I’ve injected you with a mixture of specially modified shimmer and animal DNA. In a few minutes time, it will start modifying your body.”
From the treelines, Jayce saw another shadow begin to stir. It was much, much larger than the old man - inhumanly so and with gleaming eyes which reflected moonlight. Jayce gulped. Meanwhile Singed continued talking as if nothing was amiss.
“Behind me is Warwick, my current subject. I’m testing the extent of his predatory abilities tonight. Once you’ve transformed enough to register as prey, he’ll hunt you down and kill you. Please give him a good run.” Singed explained. Then, eyes squinting in a way that suggested a smile, the old man said. “It’ll produce better results.”

i'm starting to get the appeal lolViktor wished, desperately, that he had a script for this encounter.
Bullet points, at the very least, for how to respond when one's colleague brings up a risqué comment that visibly scandalized them. One that scraped a wee bit too close to Viktor's own sexual tastes, because Jayce Talis wandered a little too close to the concept of submission and Viktor's dick leapfrogged his brain.
This could be Jayce's attempt at making it less awkward, massaging his initial reaction into a new inside joke. Which means that if Viktor breaks kayfabe, it's just going to make things weirder. He can play ball.
