Summary
As soon as cloning became commonplace, vampires saw no need to keep ‘free roaming’ humans around. They are now the dominant species, and humans are made in labs to satiate the need for food.
Broadly speaking, there are two types of humans. Common feeder lines are mass-produced, each branch consisting of over a hundred specimens, created to be sold cheaply to any coven that will take them. They are made with a few simple qualities in mind: nutritious blood, docile temperaments, and no health problems.
Then there are designer lines. Genetically engineered to be as tasty as they come, richer covens are happy to pay some extra bucks if it means having a rare, limited-edition human in their possession.
The Blade line is extremely rare. Techno might be one of a dozen or so left.
Coincidentally, the Antarctic Coven just acquired themselves a collector's item.

Summary
Even now, as he walks the halls of his childhood home, Orion remembers the pain they’ve caused them. Sirius seems to believe it’s not real. He searches for tricks in the very walls of the house, as if Arcturus will jump out and attack them. Sirius keeps himself small and subtly hides in the rooms. Orion wonders if Sirius would hide in his bedroom if he would not get too bored.
Regulus just looks lost mostly, as if the show has gone off script. He seems confused when his grandmother asks him about his day and insists on hearing his literary rantings. Regulus follows his brother more often than not. Orion thinks that if Regulus could become Sirius’ shadow, he would.
Orion so desperately wants to help them. He wants to comfort them and reassure them that Walburga is not coming back but he doesn’t know how. For their entire life, he has been a puppet. He can’t even remember those years clearly. His memories of his sons are like photos piled into a box, moments throughout the years without order or reason. He can’t help them.Series

There was something different about him. It wasnt the words, the oddly comforting promise of protection, that Dick found solice in. It was the silence. He couldn't quite understand why, but the deafening lack of conversation was something Dick had wanted. He didn't want to talk. Didn't want to answer a thousand more questions. Didn't want to explain that the man he saw threatening Mr. Haley was definitely the man who pulled the trigger. And somehow, Dick got the feeling that The Batman knew this. Understood this. Allowed the boy this bit of comfort while the engine roared, speeding off to a place unknown.
Slightly AU: Dick Grayson was only 6 when his parent's were murdered in front of him. But when Batman steps up to take of the child, Dick can't help but feel safe and secure, his future looking brighter that he thought possible.
