The one thing Dazai believes he is not.
Chuuya and Fyodor are roped into a business relationship- in short terms Chuuya is forced to date one of their business's partner's son, Fyodor Dostoevsky, in order to save their soon to collapse company. They both don't care about each other but in order to keep the public engaged they put up a convincing act. All of that changes once they take a hospital visit to Fyodor's younger brother, Dazai Osamu.
