Dottore taps the delicate curl of his scroll with a childish pout—and Pantalone wonders when he’ll lose that expression, because he doesn’t recall ever seeing it on the Dottore he knows, centuries in the future, when he’s lost Zandik and made Dottore—and pulls his reading glasses off his nose gingerly. “Do I know you?” he asks in an accusing tone, like he does know Pantalone but does not think Pantalone knows him.
“You do,” Pantalone decides to admit in a rare moment of honesty.
“Where have we met?”
Pantalone wants to know where Dottore's problems all started. He finds the answer in himself.

“What is it, A-Qiu?” You innocently tilted your head to the side with a gentle smile, hands on your lap to use the wide sleeves to hide your raging boner. Compared to your disciple, your breathing was still even and calm, as Jiaoqiu rose up from his knees to lean over the table.
“I want you, master~!”, he panted out, his breath smelled sweet and alluring, just like the aphrodisiac. His pupils were blown wide with lust and he stared at you, as if he was willing to pounce at any moment.

Just that when I get my hands on them, I’ll make sure they burn slowly and painfully, lighting every inch of them on fire and watching them disintegrate to-!” As he was just getting excited over his anticipated carnage, Rover cuts him off.
“I already dealt with them.”
Scar’s smile freezes on his face.
He pouts heavily. “Huh. You just ruined all my fun, then. Are their bodies still there, at least?”
Rover slowly looks to the side. “...No.”
“You burned them? Without me?! Rover, I’m hurt!” He tilts his head back with dramatic anguish, to which Rover was having none of it.
“No! Damn, you’re insufferable.” She huffs, closing her eyes to calm herself down before she commits another bout of manslaughter on the man she’s trying to nurse back to health (Scar wouldn’t mind if she did, though, their first dance was quite the thrill.)
Or; Rover saves Scar's life for a reason that is unknown to him, and during her first aid for him they have a conversation.
All the while, in the depths of his mind, Scar is more than a little infatuated with Rover.
