Summary
After Stanley successfully escapes the parable with the Narrator, he finds himself alone in the real world without his only friend. Half a decade passes and Stanley is now a lead editor and writer for a book focused news outlet when his workmate and friend, Tom, recommends him a book that leads him to reminisce of his time in the parable. Stanley, now with a new favorite book, gets the opportunity to interview its mysterious author, Nigel Salt, through a series of emails which soon leads the two to become pen pals and maybe even friends. Stanley only hopes his relationship with Nigel will fill the hole in his heart from losing the Narrator.

Summary
A Love Bug AU, but the virus instead makes the Narrator’s love very subtle and natural.
The Narrator has been unknowingly infected for a long time, the only hint being his voice glitching when he first got bugged. Since that point, the Narrator has been strangely pleasant around Stanley. Nothing major, but enough to make them grow a bond.
Flash forward to present day, and Stanley has something to confess. It’s interrupted by the Narrator finally noticing the bug, and promptly deleting it and uninfecting himself.
But why couldn’t the Narrator remember anything from the past few years, and why was he back to being his sadistic, cruel old self? Maybe it had something to do with the bug, Stanley thought.

Summary
Not wanting to burden Stanley with his, totally temporary, feelings the Narrator simply spawns in a copy of his character model to pretend to be with. After being caught by the man himself he decides not to use the stand in anymore but finds himself drawn back to it for further release as his feelings deepen.
Little does the Narrator know that after the first time, it's not stand in Stanley he's kissing anymore.

‘As it is, he's literally just standing there, doing sweet F.A.’
Stanley mindlessly reaches down to his crotch, and the Narrator starts to roll his eyes. This man will just not get comfortable.
But Stanley doesn’t pull on his pants or readjust anything. Instead, he applies pressure to the area. He exhales shakily as his expression momentarily shifts to a mix of relief and pleasure. As quickly as he did it, though, he retracts his hand, and pulls his legs to his chest. He glances at the ceiling - somehow even more aware of the fact that he’s always being watched than he was before - and rests his forehead on his knees.
Ah.
That’s the issue.
He supposes that he has neglected Stanley’s more... rated R... desires, but, to be fair, he had never been fully aware that Stanley had any rated R desires. This is the first time Stanley has ever been so obvious about them.
Then again, that could simply be because of the build up over time.

Stanley and The Narrator are now living outside the parable. After spending so much time in a place that doesn’t exactly follow typical real-world conventions, Stanley is forced to relearn not only how to be a functioning member of society, but also a plain, regular human.
With The Narrator beside him, Stanley knows he can overcome the hard luck and depression that plagued him in his life before the parable, but introducing The Narrator to the rules and expectations of human society comes with its own challenges.
How did this even happen, anyway?…

It was a well-known fact around the office that Stanley Rider and Nathan Parable… didn’t get along so well. The men could often be seen in the breakroom bickering over every topic under the sun- whether it was work-related or otherwise. Even the higher-ups knew not to pair them together on projects, and most tried to distance the two as much as possible, in order to keep things moving smoothly.

Stanley and Nathan don't like each other very much, but one time after an argument, one of Stanley's coworkers called Stanley a name. It was not a very nice name, but it's not like Stanley was around to hear it.

Stanley prided himself on owning the best flower shop in the ParaMall.
Little did he know his life would change the day a tall man with greying-brown hair strode into his store and demanded a bouquet meaning “I hope you die in a firey explosion” to give to his ex.
Never let it be said that Stanley didn’t do his job to the best of his ability. He just hadn’t expected meeting Narry to grow into to something more.
