Zuko said nothing for a moment, turning the name over in his mind. Sokka. It was so insufferably Water Tribe that the name must have been created to irritate him personally. He loathed it immediately and completely, “You have a sharp tongue for someone who is at the mercy of the Fire Nation,” Zuko answered instead, "I advise you to be careful with it, since sharp things tend to get taken away.”
The corner of Sokka’s mouth lifted into a smirk, his eyes finding Zuko’s, “You could certainly try.”
With the Avatar vanished, the Fire Nation successfully eradicated the Air Nomads and Northern Water Tribe before heading south. The Southern Water Tribe's poor defenses allowed the Fire Nation to defeat them easily, and with the last benders either killed or captured, destroyed the Water tribes completely.
Now, nearly a hundred years after the Avatar vanished, waterbenders, like airbenders, have become a myth.Until a banished prince, with his honor in shambles and tasked to find and capture the long-vanished Avatar, discovers this myth to be untrue.

Zuko stares down Sokka’s neck, caught on the quivering swell of his lover’s Adam’s apple. Unspoken words bounce against its walls, threatening escape. Sokka swallows hard. He lets Zuko drag a slow hand up his chest and towards his right shoulder.
“It’s been… a while,” Zuko murmurs.
“Put it more bluntly, why don’t you?”
A command Zuko obliges, leaning down to nip at his neck. Sokka’s jaw drops for a sharp inhale. This isn’t what he meant–but by God, it’s everything he wanted–and if Zuko bites down any harder, a sacrilegious confession is set to come loose.
Or: In a theocratic Fire Nation, Zuko awaits his anointment as Fire Lord… an ascendancy, of sorts, which will bring peace to the fervor of his state. A wonderful thing, all things considered: solar rays landing gentle against the foreign nations they collide with. But here and now, knowing Zuko’s touch–soft and warm–the night before the ceremony, Sokka is worried he’ll lose his sunshine.

Sanji has been in the passenger seat in his own life for years. Working in stuffy, uptight kitchens has not done his self esteem any favors. But... it pays the bills.
He hasn't dated anyone in god-knows-how-long. He hasn't dreamt up any new recipes in months.
Sanji couldn't wait to go home each night and down half a bottle of wine and a pack of cigarettes while a rerun of some trashy reality show plays until he falls asleep on his couch. Get up in the morning. Shower. Scroll his phone and maybe go for a walk before he has to do the evening service all over again. Rinse and repeat.
It was supposed to be an easy night like any other. He was the only seasoned member of the staff on shift, but that shouldn't have mattered.
After a kitchen fire forces Sanji to change everything he had known, he finds the other pieces of his life falling back into place. With the help of a frustratingly handsome firefighter.

Shit.” He runs his hands through his own hair, tugging at his bangs before letting them flop back in his face. “The fucker used my DNA to experiment on another fucking kid. He’s trying to fix his fucking mistakes by hurting a new kid.”
______Sanji's past is behind him. Germa hasn't been a stain on his life for over a decade. That is, until his sister makes a sudden appearance with a child. A child who looks far too much like Sanji. A child he now has to protect from Germa.
How the hell is he supposed to do that?

Summary
When Judge hears word of Sanji's quickly developing Germa genetic mutations, he disregards his promise to stay away from the Straw Hats and makes a move on his third son once again, this time with worse intentions than merely marrying him off. Refusing to sit down and accept this outcome, the entire Straw Hat crew will fight for their ship's cook, and a certain swordsman starts to realise that his feelings might run deeper than he once thought.
Meanwhile, in Germa, the remaining Vinsmoke siblings are facing the opposite issue. Unbeknownst to Judge, his emotionless soldier sons are starting to seem not quite as emotionless, and so an older sister sees an opportunity, and decides to take a chance.

“You noticed much faster than the others,” it says with delight, “I wonder why that is?”
Sanji’s face changes slightly, tightening. He speaks, very softly, “Where is Zoro?”
If the intruder has any sense, it would lie, but it had grown arrogant from the past few days, and now that Sanji has cornered it, Zoro feels the intruder’s hunger turn feral.
“Here,” it taps two fingers against its forehead. “Watching.”
Something takes over Zoro's body, and fully intends to keep it. Sanji is the one who notices the ruse first.
