And who Eggsy sees is a truly beautiful specimen of a male human being. Like - beyond all of his comprehension.
Harry Hart is all long limbs hidden under tailored trousers, a button down shirt, and an opened blazer. He carries his satchel under one arm and the morning paper in the other while he drinks from a Starbucks coffee cup. His hair is wind-blown by the tubes, no doubt, and wavy, and his dark eyes are hidden behind a pair of thick rimmed glasses.
He seems oblivious to the interruption he’s caused as he goes to take a seat next to Merlin who is trying to suppress his laughter.
It should be illegal for someone to look that bloody good.

Summary
Merlin hates people, which is a problem when he works in the public sector. There is a tolerable enough boy, though who comes into his library branch. He can't understand though why Eggsy seems to seek him out, when he clearly knows how the library works. But he can't stop himself from caring about the lad, just a bit.
Years later, Eggsy can't believe that he has run into the librarian who was his first gay crush, and that memory had been wrong - Merlin was even hotter than he remembered. He saved the world, maybe he can can properly flirt with the first person he remembered loving, who treated him with care. Though it might be a little hard, the guy is still grumpy and clueless. But Eggsy can do this.

Summary
Queen Tilde and Prince Consort Eggsy have the best sort of political marriage you can hope for. They are friendly, work well together, and both countries prosper because of the marriage. They sleep together just enough to try for an heir. Tilde has been in love with her personal guard Roxy Morton almost her whole life and it is a very open secret in the kingdom that they are together. Tilde sees that Eggsy is lonely, and worried for her friend, insists that Harry procure a companion for Eggsy, no matter the cost. Her husband needs some loving, and he will have it. Harry who practically raised Eggsy and is his chief advisor, well knows what Eggsy likes and it would be difficult to find in a whorehouse. Instead he manages to find a snarky older blacksmith with a bad leg who has fallen on poor enough times that he has offered himself in an indentured servant contract. Merlin figures that a good room, and being a royal's toy is better than the mines and goes along with it. And of course, Eggsy and Merlin fall in love.

Summary
Eggsy is on the run. Dean Baker is responsible for his mum’s death, and Eggsy’s only choice is to pack what little they have and flee with Daisy, to the one place his mum told him about his whole life.
Kingsman is a mob, their cover an elite pub/gentlemen's club, and Eggsy was given a medal - by his mum - 17 years ago with the instructions to find the pub, on Savile Row, and say Oxfords not Brogues. It isn’t until that very day, does Eggsy take it and run, seeking shelter in a posh neighborhood, to a posh pub, filled with posh men who are seemingly more dangerous than their bespoke suits perceive them to be.
Merlin, now running Kingsman, is the boss - Arthur - under unfortunate circumstances. With their previous King dead, one of their best in a coma, he is left to lead the mob himself, with an unlikely guest running into their pub, turning in a favor that Harry Hart promised the Unwin family 17 years ago.
While he curses Harry’s name, Merlin can do nothing more but see Eggsy as an inconvenience, during a less than ideal situation. But as time moves on, and Daisy weaves her way into everyone's hearts, Merlin and Eggsy are finding themselves falling in love, in the most unlikely of circumstances.
