    Alfred "Alfie" Hill had become content with the day to day of university. As a top student in the English department, he was fine with his days being filled with classes and homework. It left him little time to think about how isolated he became. But at a department party he wins tickets to see the university's rugby team "The Grand Blues". There he meets the hooker of the team and transfer student Ciaran Stewart who is more than happy to bring Alfie into the world of rugby.
