While Jax was abstracted, Kinger had suggested to Pomni that she write one letter for Jax every single day, even if he never saw them. Writing letters became her coping mechanism while Jax was gone.
One day, after a full year of Jax's abstraction, he wakes up in the pillow fort, as Caine had found a way to de-abstract Jax, as a surprise for Pomni. The first thing Jax notices is a chest. They're all full of Pomni's letters, neatly sealed in envelopes, addressed to him. While everyone is asleep, he reads every single one of the 365 letters.

Pomni assumes everyone hates her because of her misjudgement in the exit adventure and has lost hope completely in trying to find the light in the darkness.
Jax finds camaraderie in her droopy attitude and is determined not to let her abstract. He said he'd forget, but only *if* she abstracted. He doesn't plan to let that happen.

Her career started in small venues until she was contacted by K&Q International Music Industries to become an opener for a rock/alternative group: “The Abstracts”.
While the drummer Zooble and bassist & Pianist Ribbit were welcoming to her, the lead singer & guitarist Jax had been giving her a very hard time during their first introduction. Their Industry gave her an offer she never expected; becoming their official opener for their WORLD TOUR! This was it, her kickstart to becoming well known and famous! 6 month contract with their companies combined, but it also meant 6 months with. . . Him.

She now has to deal with the grief of losing him while he is back, in front of her, and none the wiser about how much she knows about him and about how he saw them.
The remaining members try to navigate life with the prospect that they are now here forever, creating barriers between themselves and their outside personalities. Caine tries to figure out how far he can push his new ability of 'raising the dead', still reeling from losing the powers Abel had provided and attempting to quell his own ego while catering to the members as promised.

They all made it out of the circus. For some of them, they are back to their original lives for the first time in years. They all wake up the same way, taking off a headset in an abandoned C&A building. But they all didn't wake up at the same building...
Pomni (Now Kellie) and Jax (Now Zac) find each other through Pomni's old YouTube page. The two start communicating, not knowing what happened to the others. Caine had messed with their memories so much, it took them a while to remember things they used to remember about their lives even in the circus.
They bond over their shared time at the circus and start to wonder what led them to the circus anyway? How did it work? And why them?They learn that there might only be one way to get rid of the circus altogether. In order to delete the system, they each will have to face their worst fears and worst memories.
How bad could it possibly be?
