Tikki shook her head.
“It doesn’t matter, Alya! I can’t know who he is either!”
“But what if you weren’t the one to know?”
Marinette froze and pulled away. “What?”
Alya met her gaze, stroking the sides of her face. “What if I knew Chat’s identity? It keeps you from knowing each other but helps us coordinate. We could include him in the planning! I could help support him like I do for you!”
Marinette nodded. “I… I can’t know all the details. But yes, anything, please! But you have to never slip, Alya. You can’t tell me who he is. You can’t hint! You may have to lie to me to protect him!”
“I understand.” Alya said, smiling.

After that very first time starting his ‘video diary’ of sorts, Adrien felt like a weight was being lifted off his shoulders. For a while, he could just relax and talk. He talked about everything and anything. Things that happened to him that day, people he met and even akuma attacks. Since no one was going to see the videos, he could be open about his identity as Chat Noir.
Everyday when he gets the chance, he sits down and presses record and every day he feels himself deflate from life’s struggles as he admits his secrets to the camera. Not everything he talks about is heavy stuff like his father or his rigid schedule, sometimes it’s good things too. He likes those day’s best, when he can reel off little stories about his friends or stopping by Marinette’s parents bakery. He never leaves empty handed.
Soon, the videos really start to pile up.

Marinette believes she given up her life as Ladybug. Everyday, she wonders what became of Chat Noir, and hopes that someday, he will return to Paris.
After his father was exposed as Hawkmoth, Adrien Agreste fled the country, moving to the US. He never planned on returning to Paris. On returning to everything he had left behind, including Ladybug. When Adrien makes a decision that ultimately leads to his return, a new threat arises, one that will expose the past and bring buried secrets to light.

Crowley smiled too, completely involuntarily. “Gabriel’s always on me about those glasses. Says they aren’t part of the uniform. But other people get to wear glasses!”
“I do believe that’s because they need them to see.”
“So do I! Well. When the sun’s up. Can’t stand the bloody thing. Too Scottish, not used to it.”
The year is 1908.
The RMS Laetitia just left the port in Liverpool to go across the ocean to New York.
Crowley has been a seaman for years, and on the Laetitia for a couple of months. It’s not his first journey, nor will it be his last.
But when one of the officers sends him to find binoculars for the lookouts, he meets the crew’s latest addition. His name is Aziraphale.
