When you come across the infamous Lord Lilia, great commander of the Fae army‒ he takes you under his wing, gifting you morsels of peace even with death on the horizon. You are simply taken with the sweet songs and sugary words which fall from his mouth‒ echoing them in the heart in your chest that did not feel like yours.
Continuing my myth (?) series I guess with Twist characters? This one is based on Dullahan (the Celtic myth about a headless grim reaper basically) References to human experimentation and manipulation (neither is enacted by twst characters). Takes place before the events of the game during the Human/Fae WarComments and Kudos always appreciated :)

Being the easily startled type, you yelp in surprise, just like everyone else at your table, when you see the Diasomnia student’s upside-down face abruptly come into view.
While Lilia chuckles at everyone’s reactions, you take a moment to recover from the near heart attack he just gave you.
Once your heart is no longer racing, you lift your gaze and find yourself making direct eye contact with Lilia. When you do, your whole body immediately freezes.
Dimly, you’re aware of the fact that everyone else is now talking to Lilia, but none of their words register in your mind, because your full focus is on the scarlet eyes looking right back at you.
Even though staring is all Lilia is doing while he’s responding to the others at your table, your instincts are screaming at you to not let your guard down for a single second - to not look away from him, because, if you do, it could easily mean your downfall.
