“I don’t care what kind of beef you’ve got going on with Peter,” the woman continued, “But when a guy with a gun came in here to take your daughter, that boy didn’t hesitate to insist on taking her place, and if you don’t do everything you can to get him back, I swear, I’m going to every tabloid and newspaper in this town to tell them Tony Stark had a teenage son whether you like it or not!”
(Peter expected to have to keep his distance after stopping Morgan from being kidnapped. He did not expect Pepper Potts to do her best to parent him, despite the memory spell's effects. Reeling from the sudden influx of genuine care and support, it takes a while for him to get around to correcting a lie he told someone else, and never thought Pepper would believe in the first place.)

Harry Potter finds himself in a strange new world (but in a New York, which was both confusing and sad - couldn't different worlds have different named cities, even if he did come from London and not his world's New York?) with Uber advanced science, barely no magic (that he can see, but a lack of technological prowess has kind of limited his choices in that regard), and a strange collection of superheroes who might be magic but are nowhere to be found. The ones who have magic-like powers, he means.
And then this poor kid starts getting smeared on live television because he's a superhero, and Harry is almost annoyed enough to go teach that stupid reporter what real villainy means (after all, he's not staying in this world for long, right?)-
Except. He can't. Because no one bloody remembers Peter Parker, and he can only thank Merlin he managed to put up a shield charm in time because that was a blasted obliviation spell, wasn't it?
Okay, yeah, he needed to find Spiderman.

As much as he built it up, one by one the blocks were still removed over the years making the tower less and less stable.
Buck joined the 118 fresh out of the Navy and braced himself for all the questions that were about to come his way which he did not want to answer. Then, like a gift from above, somehow and shockingly, no one had read his resume, and he found he could start all over again, be a new person, someone completely different or maybe who he was supposed to be all along.

Summary
The time room had a mirror that Harry glanced inside of, and within it he saw a million possibilities that could occur in the next hour. There was far too much information in that single glance for Harry to handle, so something in his mind snapped when he saw that in almost every possibility that Sirius would die. There was an orb as well that always difference, ever changing, but that didn't matter.
In that single glance, Harry knew that he needed to keep Sirius safe, and after the battle he realizes that that won't be possible unless he keeps himself safe. Harry allows Sirius talk him into letting Sirius completely take care of him until he is 17, and neither of them are aware of the feelings they have for each other until they are too tightly bound to let the other go.

Tom thought he was hallucinating, to begin with. Suddenly, between the dilapidated Potions store and the magical equipment repair store, there was a dizzyingly green overgrowth of plants and vines and venomous flowers that only parted to show a door when one stood directly opposite it. The greenery practically burst out of the walls and even between the cobbles of the cobblestone path outside, as though it was carnivorous, insatiable, uncontainable.
He initially presumed that it might be some kind of exotic plant shop, but then he heard the whispers from within, and noticed that, if he squinted, the twisting, writhing vines above the door seemed to spell out a single word: Serpensortia.
Tom was inside the door before he knew it.
