“You would be foolish then, but maybe you would finally be mine,” he whispered.
When Duchess Satine is suspected of forming an army for the Separatists, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi is sent to Mandalore to investigate, and despite being committed to the lie that they are friends and nothing more, they have been in love for nearly twenty years. When the events of the Clone Wars drive them to admit their feelings, they must decide whether duty still comes before love.

The first time Mace Windu meets Qui-Gon Jinn, he gets his ass handed to him. From then on, a one-sided enmity is born, and Mace goes the rest of his life making decisions based on one question: what would Jinn do? Naturally, of course, he then does the exact opposite. Mace develops Vaapad, trains Depa Billaba and Obi-Wan Kenobi, makes friends with Dooku, and generally does everything he can to kark Qui-Gon Jinn over.

How will it change his mission to save the galaxy? What the hell is he even supposed to do with this knowledge? When history starts showing signs of repeating itself despite the differences in the timelines, Ben can't help but panic as least a little. After all, he hasn't even decided if he wants his vision to be a reality or not. It's a good thing that he has at least nine months to make up his mind.

Summary
After dying on the Death Star, Obi-Wan Kenobi expects to; well, die. Instead, he wakes up in the initiate dorms at the Coruscant Temple. The Force has sent him back in time, given him a second chance, and he knows what he needs to do. At twelve years old, his life is at a crossroads. Does he apprentice to Qui-Gon Jinn or does he join the AgriCorps. He knows the fate of the galaxy if he chooses the former and so he dedicates himself to the latter.
Only, the Force works in mysterious ways. When a third option is presented, becoming Yan Dooku's Padawan, Obi-Wan has to make a decision.
With a new master and a new chance, Obi-Wan is determined to save the galaxy from Sidious's plans for it.
