    Tomioka’s eyes seem all-encompassing from this close, and an errant strand of hair has worked its way loose from his ponytail and falls across his nose. He’s leaning over Kyojuro, protectively, almost, and his hand is warm on Kyojuro’s shoulder, and he seems so unconcerned with their surroundings as his eyes seek out Kyojuro’s wound that Kyojuro feels immediately safe.

    “That was quite a save, Tomioka! How did you get here?” he manages with effort.

    “My crow gave me the wrong directions.”

    Giyu accidentally comes upon the scene after the crash of the Infinity Train, changing the course of Kyojuro’s existence forever. Kyojuro might be battered, but he’s still alive. Unfortunately, so is Akaza.
