“Binghe, speak to this master,” Shen Qingqiu says firmly, and Luo Binghe gives him a strange look. Shen Qingqiu can’t place it and he leans forward, intending to get closer to see better. But the hand around his wrist instantly tightens to the point where it hurts, and Shen Qingqiu lets out a squawk of pain.“Binghe—!”
“Why do you keep calling me like that?” Luo Binghe returns, and Shen Qingqiu’s eyes widen at the way the words are devoid of any emotion. It is nothing though, compared to the force of what Luo Binghe says next. “Who are you?”

Very well written. A bit slow moving but the writing in the portrayal of emotions and tension is beautiful. Had me in fits of unease with LBH unpredictable danger. The longing and pining in this is REAL so don't read of you're already in a lonely headspace 😮💨 (the end has some cute moments to make up for the pain though).
Quick recap: LBH cursed and can't remember the ones he loves. Papapa does not end up fixing it. LBH is confused, knows something is missing, and sees the evidence of SQQ deeply entwined in his life (along with everyone else saying so). LBH keeps SQQ in their room in the demon realm after some of his court infers that SQQ could be the cause of his memory loss and is a danger. SQH and SQQ enter LBH dream to get clues, SQH leaves to confirm. LBH confronts SQQ, his curse grows dangerously unstable and they fight. SQQ knocks him out and him and SQH all go to a temple up the mountain to drain the heart blood of the creature who cursed LBH. SQQ and creature fight, LBH wakes and steps in, killing the creature and inadvertently sealing his fate. LBH and SQQ fight as the temple collapses, LBH stabs SQQ in the chest. SQQ in a final desperate attempt shoves his blood into LBH mouth (loved ones heartblood also could break the curse, but was too dangerous to try before). SQQ passes out.
