Summary
“And what else…?” Nihilux asks leadingly. Stelle pauses, the last fruit filled cake halfway in her mouth already.
“Whurgh?” Stelle tries to say around her mouthful of dessert.
“What else did you see through the windows as the Express was making a glorious escape off Planarcadia and away from the hungry maw of Voracity…?” Nihilux presses leaning forward, eyes sparkling. Stelle stares back silently until Nihilux’s expression collapses in dismay. “You seriously didn’t see it?” she demands, her voice rising shrilly. Swallowing her cake, Stelle frowns.
“See what?” she insists, only for Nihilux to groan and throw herself back in her chair.
“Akiviliiiii,” Nihilux whines, sounding genuinely distressed. Flushing, Stelle quickly tries to defend herself.
“Hey! I was a little busy at the time trying not to die!” Stelle insists as Nihilux pouts at her like a child who was just told they have to stop playing and go to bed early.

Evernight only ever saw herself as a failsafe since manifesting from March 7th’s desires. This body, March 7th’s body, is not hers, nor is it her life to live. It has been years. The war has crawled to a halt. Countless lives fight to survive just a little longer, all the while those who preach their glory gorge themselves upon what they have not earned. She sees it. She is angry. But above all else, She is tired. Enough blood has been shed, and now She has to put their foot down, or else the will be no system to fight over anymore.
A little something I've been working on, born from a few hours of yapping with my fellow brainrotted folks on Signaliscord. The two Eusan states are about to enter a more official state of cold war. Expect less actual fighting and more intrigue and spy thriller shenanigans.

A ghost roamed the ship and it became harder to recognize it as your wife. Flames singed your mind.
Ariane wailed in pain from the cryogenic pod you'd been too afraid to turn on for you to keep your promise, an impossibility even if the servos in your legs hadn't stopped functioning cycles ago. You weren't built to be able to. Sitting there, hearing your wife slowly die, it all finally clicked.
Hell was real. And you were being welcomed home.
A fractured mind denied rest; a blind zealot chasing soot; A bifurcated god on a decaying throne: each soul trapped in an unending hell at the hands of a machine refusing itself penance.

Frightened, confused, but alive and well and there with her in S-23 Sierpinski. With no clue how to end the cycle, the two join up with Isa and search for a new solution, something beyond the means Elster has been taunted with for so long.
