Summary
The biggest changes in Milluki Zoldyck’s life have always been heralded by his younger siblings. A new favorite son, a new family heir, the end of his physical training and the start of his interest in technology. But even if they brought mostly misery, not everything with Milluki’s siblings was bad. There were moments — babysitting, watching movies, getting a computer and giving a pair of yo-yos — that he could see the good in. If only his younger siblings weren’t so easily given everything Milluki had wanted, he might have been able to love them.

Leorio Paladiknight is one of the most infamous students in Nellcor University’s accelerated medical degree track. Beloved, respected, reknowned…though no one is ever 100% sure what’s going on in his head. So, naturally, when it seems like Leorio is now in a relationship, everyone wants to know who the lady — or man — in question might be.
Or: While Gon and Killua and Kurapika were off on their adventures, Leorio became his school’s textbook example of how weird Hunters are compared to ordinary people, and unknowingly spawned an elaborate betting ring about his romantic life. Is his boyfriend a mafia boss or something?

Summary
A Canary in a Coal Mine.
Etymology: An allusion to caged canaries (birds) that miners would carry down into the mine tunnels with them. If dangerous gasses such as carbon monoxide collected in the mine, the gasses would kill the canary before killing the miners, thus providing a warning to exit the tunnels immediately.
Meaning: (idiomatic) Something whose sensitivity to adverse conditions makes it a useful early indicator of such conditions; something which warns of the coming of greater danger or trouble by a deterioration in its health or welfare.
Thanks to his new friends, Killua leaves the Zoldyck family. As punishment for encouraging his rescuers, and for her insolence, Canary is assigned to look after Alluka Zoldyck. But it’s quickly made apparent that despite being the family’s pariah, Alluka is far from the most monstrous of the Zoldycks. An odd friendship develops between the two girls, and the young butler learns just how many family matters the Zoldycks have buried.

If I were a smart murderbot, I wouldn’t have looked around. I would have kept on following Iris through the university courtyard and left well enough alone. If I were a dumber bot, I wouldn’t have looked around either. Because whoever had said that name was probably talking to someone actually named Eden, not a construct who had briefly borrowed that name from its favorite serial.

It's not until later, while trying to navigate the needs of a person she has limited context for, that the supplementary reading becomes useful. It's not instructions the way they are supposed to be but it does provide... guidance.

Summary
With Networks VOID/Networks VITAL, NULLverse is narratively Complete. But I keep writing anyway. Cuz it's fun.
Consider this series if you like: feral shit, disaster, continuity of identity+memory, societies of people with divergent needs/wants, chaos, robot creation ethics, violence vs security, suffering, healing, bad puns.

- Murderbot is subjected to Palisade's construct research lab as they try to figure out what makes a rogue tick

- Disaster ensuesNote installment one, Parameters NULL, is heavily horror/angst (and dark comedy). References NULL is also deeply angsty.
Series has its ups and downs regarding angst, slightly-less-dark comedy, and trauma recovery themes. Plus some whack worldbuilding speculation. We like to multi track drift here. It’s crack it’s angst it’s fluff? We have the RangeTM
