"A house by the sea. Just what they needed. The fear and anxiety left over from the war evaporated as Remus and Sirius looked out the window of the bedroom that would be theirs and saw the water lapping at the shore.
Of course it was far from London and Harry and anywhere else they'd lived. But that's what the fireplace was for. And apparating.
The sea called to them, cleansing the horrors they'd been through for so many years.
Sirius stood next to Remus with his arm around him. They looked at each other and nodded
"We'll take it."

Summary
Autumn in Philadelphia-Jon and Shawn settle into their changing roles from teacher and student to guardian and charge with limited success. A student teacher assigned to Jon changes his relationship with Shawn in ways he could never imagined.
The Return- 17 years after Shawn turned his back on Jon, he's back in New York City for good. A series of events started by Cory's poorly timed joke brings Shawn home to the family he's always wanted. Unfortunately, Shawn isn't the only one from Jon's past who's back.
Saudade-The family returns to Philadelphia for Spring Break. Jon and Shawn finally sit down and explore the reasons for their estrangement with everyone who was there: Cory, Topanga, Eric, Jack, Angela, and Audrey.
Meanwhile, Jon's past threatens to destroy the life he's built for himself and his family.I Never Sang for My Legal Guardian: Jon tries to salvage his relationship with Shawn with a fresh start.

Warnings: This is a Mirror Universe AU, so both Janeway and Riker behave reprehensibly and murder people with no compunction. Although this story primarily focusses on political intrigue, conspiracy and machination, there are occasional descriptions of violence, bordering on graphic. There are mentions of, but no lengthy detailed descriptions of torture. There are threats of rape, although all on-screen sex is consensual. Janeway and Riker do not get their come-uppance.
