Steve’s left staring at the kid- Peter, his brain helpfully reminds him. The kid is staring back.
“So, you’re, like, Captain America, huh?” Peter asks, and he looks a little starstruck but less so than he did when he’d stared at Tony Stark’s jet taking off.
“Uh, yeah.” Steve says, staring hard at a spot just past the kid’s shoulder as he shoves his hands as deep as they can go into the pockets of his jeans. “Call me Steve.”
“Cool.” Parker breathes, and Steve tries not to think about just how badly this is going to go.

“Yeah, right now.” Tony sits up. “You got something better to do? Go grab some extra clothes and a toothbrush. We’ll make a little weekend trip out of it. You can finish your homework on Sunday night like all the normal, non-dweeb kids.”
“Okay,” Peter says brightly, always so amiable. “I gotta run it by May first, though.”
“Of course,” Tony replies, already ambling off to get his own things. “Tell her it’ll be educational,” he calls back. “I’ll take you somewhere with a lot of historic value or whatever.”

Summary
Deadpool does a better job understanding Spider-Man's strengths and limitations as an autistic super than pretty much anyone else does. This doesn't stop Peter from getting involved with a cult while investigting a series of suicide bombers. He's just that much of a disaster, autistic or not.
I play fast and loose with canon but try to stay true to (what I perceive to be) the spirit of the characters. Note that neither Peter nor Wade are based on any movie versions.

Puny Peter Parker's lot in life is simple. He is the eternal punching bag of Stark Industries. He learns very early on to mask his emotions with a polite smile. Until Stark's top of the line security system is hacked by a terrorist group. In comes FBI Agent Wade Wilson, who can't keep his hands to himself. He knows more than he lets on about the millionaire playboy. Peter pays dearly for Wilson to keep his mouth shut.

Peter Parker isn’t Spider-Man anymore. No, he left his suit and that life behind after Gwen, Harry and everything else went wrong. He packed his bag and took off, looking for someplace where he won’t see Gwen’s ghost on every corner, someplace where he won’t have nightmares every night.
Wade Wilson isn’t Deadpool anymore. No, he told a client to fuck off when he’d been sent to end someone who… didn’t deserve it So he left, packed his bag and headed for a place where the voices in his head don’t scream at him, where he can find some peace.
When Omega Peter ends up in Alpha Wade’s life, Wade tells him to keep his distance, not to ask about his scars, and to not bother him with his heat. Their arrangement works, each of them living with their own secrets, orbiting around each other but not to each other, until the Alpha starts staring a little too much, and the Omega starts needing some company.
Wade’s past catches up with him unexpectedly and Peter has to come to terms with the Deadpool side of his Alpha and it nearly tears them apart. But Peter still has a secret of his own. And he isn’t sure how Wade will react to that at all.*re-edited and divided into chapters for easier reading!*

Summary
Peter had a tendency to put up walls to isolate himself; even as Spider-Man, he could only suffer through so much death and destruction. It was precautionary, really, and those he'd pushed away would thank him were they aware of the circumstances. Of course, Deadpool had his own tendencies, one of which was to break down said walls (fourth ones included). As grating as it was, a small sliver of Peter hoped the mercenary would be able to succeed.
