Kris and the Soul are both known to run away from their problems, and when this commonality causes them to strike up a conversation, the known events of Chapter 2 start to unfold just a liiittle too far to the left. Slowly revealing that this timeline is quite a bit darker than anyone may have first thought...
Readers should expect an investigation into the relationship between Kris and the Player, trying to figure out what makes them both tick (each other off) through the guise of melodramatic introspection, poor attempts at comedy, progressively worse and worse train wrecks, and dunking on fan-theories the author doesn't like.
