Summary
The way his words spat out of his mouth like venom made Izuku want to cry. Katsuki was saying so much, too much. Izuku hated thinking about middle school and how he felt in those years. Every time he looked at Katsuki, all he could think about were those horrific days and agonizing memories. Yet at the time, he was so blind that he gave his unconditional love to Katsuki; something he was still doing to an extent. After Katsuki revealed that he was sick of it all, something snapped in Izuku's mind and he came to terms with how he felt.

Summary
Izuku was only alive out of spite. He was supposed to die. His mother wanted him dead, his father would have tried to kill him, no doubt. He was confident nobody missed him when he went missing. He was supposed to die.
It hurt, it hurt so fucking bad to think that he wasn't supposed to make it to age eleven. But he was alive and surviving to the best of his ability. He learned how to fight with a knife before he learned how to multiply. He learned how to pickpocket and shoplift before he learned the difference between primary and secondary colors.
Izuku learned how to survive before he learned how to live.

"Yes, how do you know about it?"
"I read about it on the APMA website," Izuku beamed. "The Todoroki Branch is one of the three branches that have this technology, the others being the Aizawa Branch and the Mirio Branch."
"Yes, I know," Shouto said hesitantly, wondering why Izuku was telling him about his own company.
"Oh! Sorry! I don't want it to seem like I don't think you're aware!" Izuku apologized.

No matter how hard he tried, Shouto couldn't stop choking on his own emotions in order to reply. All he could do was sniffle and nod his head.

Summary
Shouto tries to ignore the way Izuku’s hero costume stretches and pulls on his body in all the right ways. He uses every ounce of willpower he has not stare at the green spandex as it accentuates and highlights Izuku’s muscles. Somehow, Shouto had never noticed just how much Izuku had grown up until now.
In which, pro hero Shouto finds a love letter that Izuku had intended to give him in high school and suddenly unrequited feelings aren't quite so unrequited.

Summary
Dreams were like butterflies; fragile and creatures with wings. Sometimes they flew away, sometimes they were caught, sometimes they were crushed under the boot of another, sometimes they were crushed under your own. Midoriya Izuku had a single butterfly he'd chased his entire life. That butterfly represented being a hero. It represented his hopes and dreams and wishes. And it was crushed.
All Might, the Symbol of Peace. The one who'd crushed Izuku's dreams himself.
Quirkelss was not a butterfly, but a wolf. An obsessive hunter stalking him wherever he went. Killing his butterflies one by one.
Maybe being a hero was overrated anyway.
Maybe being the one who started the fires was better than being the one to put them out.
Maybe it's time Izuku tried starting some fires of his own.(Also posted on Wattpad)
