His head snapped towards his desk where Dustin was sitting and he felt his stomach drop.The desk drawer was opened. There was a familiar notebook in Dustin’s hands and he seemed to be flipping through with a particular expression on his face.

Summary
Nothing had changed, really. Will and Mike still got to hang out.
At least, they did sometimes. Usually late at night, once Mike was done hanging out with El. Or early in the morning, after an impromptu sleepover. Before it was time for Mike to start hanging out with El again. It had become an every day thing. Every day for the past six months. Not that Will was counting — not like Mike had counted the three hundred and fifty-three days he’d been apart from El.
After two harrowing years, all he wants is to play D&D with his friends. But as the party grows up and pairs off around him, he’s faced with the harsh reality that childhood doesn’t last forever.
