- - -Theseus 'Tommy' Addams , knew the world was a dreadful place. The small town he had moved to was no exception, so he showed them the darkness in the form of his small gothic style café known as Nightshade.
Purpled no known last name was homeless, jobless and in need of a new start. He get's more then he hoped for when applying to the new café that had just opened. A place to sleep, a gothic café and a disembodied hand what more could he have asked for then this? it was perfect.
But perfection doesn't last forever. For a threat is on the horizon, and Purpled hopes his boss/roommate/platonic husband doesn't get them both murdered with his interest in the multiple unsolved murder cases popping up around their town.

Philza cleared his throat as the noise picked up again. “That mission is suicide. We’ve all heard stories of how heartless that creature is. He was cursed from birth by the gods for being pure evil. Many have tried and many have failed.”

Tommy blinked. Gradually, the corners of his mouth dropped into the deepest frown he’d ever made. “What the fuck? Why?”
“Why?” Icarus froze and Tommy raised a judgemental eyebrow. “It’s because of your powers.”
“My powers,” he echoed. “I never told you whether or not I had powers.”
“I can… sense them,” Icarus bullshitted. Tommy pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Right. What are they, then,” he retorted.
“Uh… super… powers,” the villain answered, sounding more unsure of himself by the second.
Tommy wanted to bash his head against a wall. “Really? That’s the best you could do?”

Tommy isn’t sure why handing someone their keys is such a big deal, but now he’s left with a huge problem: Every supervillain in the city wants him to be their apprentice!

Summary
Tommy had, despite what others might think, an incredibly brilliant plan: escape exile, find shelter, and live out the rest of his days in a nice cobblestone tower with five dogs, three cows, and a raccoon. The details were a bit foggier, but Tommy was determined nothing would get in the way of his plan!
Dream finding him at Technoblade's house was not part of that plan.
Dream and Technoblade getting turned into kids was totally, absolutely, and most definitely NOT part of that plan!
And now he's supposed to watch them until someone finds a solution? He was supposed to be the youngest, damnit!!!

Tommy is in exile. Solely dependent on Dream, Tommy only can think back to the days were he remembered what freedom was truly like. When his defiance gets him in trouble one day, Dream offers him a potion, and Tommy doesn't hesitate to take it. Dream's his friend, right?
Next thing Tommy knows he's eight years old, no father or brothers in sight, and he has no idea who this green guy with the stupid mask is. So, of course, he kicks the guy and takes off running.With a body and mind reversed eight years into the past, a memory troubled Tommy has to depend on Technoblade to help him figure out this new situation, without being kidnapped by the green guy or L'Manburg first. But as time goes on, Tommy begins to wonder about future Tommy, who doesn't seem to have been living a happy life. What happened in the past eight years that left him and the people around him so traumatized?
