Summary
May Parker dies without a will or any written plans for her nephew. Tony thinks he can’t raise a teenager. So Peter is placed in foster care. Things seem okay at first. But when Tony stops hearing from Peter, he assumes the kid is angry with him.
Foster care isn’t evil. But the workers are over stressed and resources are spread too thin. The system isn’t designed to protect an enhanced kid with a secret identity. When unhappy teenagers disappear, it’s assumed they ran away.
Spider-Man is captured by an evil organization, with the intent of unlocking the secrets of his powers. But his abductors weren’t prepared for the masked superhero to be just a kid. Their code of ethics prevents them from killing a child, so they decide to raise him.
Peter is confused by his captors. They subject him to medical torture. But they also lavish him with all the care and affection he desperately needs. Escape seems impossible, but even if he had the chance, would he take it?

Dick’s life has finally begun to drag itself back on track. He has a new set of acquaintances at the academy, visits and is visited by Wally on the regular, and his rent and utilities are all covered by the academy’s bursary commission. Nothings perfect, especially when he’s rubbing his entire existence in Bruce’s face whenever he turns up at the mountain for the team’s movie nights, but the emergence of a routine allows Dick to settle, and after two months, he doesn’t struggle to fall asleep at night anymore.
Or: Dick moves to Bludhaven with a chip on his shoulder, hoping to carve out some kind of worthwhile life for himself now that he's less-than-welcome at the manor, but ends up getting wrapped up in the same self-destructive tendencies that he was avoiding in the first place.

It wasn’t until he had been Robin for a few days when he decided to test his DNA for any matches. The Batcomputer kept a very thorough data base of all the criminals in Gotham and all the rogues as well. It was connected with both the GCPD and the JL databases. Call it an innocent curiosity.

Batman's PR is at an all-time low due to a sudden onslaught of negative posts centred around him. People are clamouring for his removal from the Justice League. Batman doesn't care about the comments but Gotham is indignant on their knight's behalf. The JL comes to his defence and speaks on his behalf with their whole chest. The internet decided that Batman must have bewitched the JL and cancel him even more. Batman still does not care.
An unknown someone posts three photos of Batman. They are the first clear photos of the vigilante that the world has ever seen. Suddenly, public opinion has been reversed and the only word on everyone's collective mind is: DADDY

She couldn’t stand to see them and she didn’t want us to read them and get ideas, I was already way too interested in aircrafts for her taste. She hoped it would cure me of my obsession with my Dad’s job, I guess,” Hal started saying.
