Summary
Mephone finds himself in a rough way, after the fifteenth episode of Inanimate Insanity season two.
Lately, it's been a cycle of sleeping far too much. On par with the multitude of other self-harming behaviors that only dig him into a deeper hole than before.
However, one person doesn't exactly feel keen on watching him destroy himself. For why? Mephone isn't sure yet.(Pay extreme attention to the tags, be warned. This is a fic that touches on a lot of harmful things from real life. Take care of yourselves.)

Usually, it'd be the typical chaos. Messes in the kitchen or an ocassional broken vase.
It hasn't been that different with the new faces from season two.
Although, things take a quick turn when MePhone4 puts the show on a very sudden hiatus at the final four.They get to know each other a bit better, before things take a turn for the absolute worst.

Test tube, right before a summer vacation with her friends, stumbles upon an accident outside of the elevator and it turns out that Trophy's gotten his wrist broken-- and is stuck with the Flu, unluckily enough.
Since majority of the hotel will be absent, on their own travels-- Test tube decides on the most unlikely person to keep an eye on him so he won't get himself into further trouble. That person happens to be Mephone, who doesn't even want to be there.

Oj walked in to the familiar workplace hand in hand with his fiancée Paper. They both worked there and had for years with Oj being an advanced math teacher while his partner worked in the office. It was the new school for teachers and students alike. The principal, Mr. Steve Cobs, asked him suddenly to tutor one of his sons, Mephone4. The weight of the man being his boss and Steve being known to be rather rude when things didn't go his way forced him to agree. He had already taught some of Cobs’ older kids so how hard could it be.
Mephone4 had been dreading going back to school for a while now- with the high expectations of his father and knowing the consequences when he didn’t meet them already draining him. And it only got worse when he found out he’d have to do tutoring in his worst subject with a man who only got on his nerves. It was gonna be a long year.(Mephone4 centric- i suck at summaries just read it💔)

A happier future doesn't always mean things are good all the time. Sometimes things can happen that throw everything up in the air, but it's how those things are handled and grown from that are important.
Both MePhone, and Trophy have a lot to learn, and have a lot of space to keep growing, and improving. Maybe this time, without jumping into a relationship neither of them were ready for, but... Maybe with enough growth, despite everything else going on, they can give it another shot someday.
