It can’t be a standard name they give orphans, because even when he still stayed in the orphanage, he was the only one with that name. Plenty of kids had no last name at all, which makes it more believable that Uzumaki is his real family name.
But what does that mean? Who are the Uzumaki? Is he the only one left? How can he find out? Were his family shinobi? Merchants? Regular civilians?
He is determined to find out.

Kabuto, neck deep in every single one of Danzō’s dirtiest secrets, along with Orochimaru who commenced his entry into the timeline by kicking its doors clean off their hinges. Two unhinged maniacs who were only holding it together because of the enforced house arrest and supervision. House arrest and supervision that no longer existed, in a timeline where they were the ones with advance knowledge.
