Her business partner sighed, “Goodbye Vi. Please tell me when the roof is finished, I’ll be by to take measurements for the rooms and furnishings later this week…” Vi almost hung up the phone but then her colleague —partner? Boss? Definitely her boss, made a funny little humming noise quickly followed by a rather upbeat, “Oh! How do you feel about forest green?”
“Uhhh… am I supposed to feel something for a color?”

Everyone turned to look to the girl, and Vi turned too to look. The girl, Caitlyn, looked a little surprised, wide eyes blinking a moment before darting her eyes to look at Vi, holding her gaze for a second. Then she straightened herself and lifted her chin, looking back. She darted her eyes among the councillors before giving a light nod and speaking up again.
“Rehabilitation,” she said firmly. “And… public service.”
An alternative take on Arcane, where Vi is arrested and given a trial, and all that happens after.

Vi jerked her head to the right.Caitlyn turned. Leona and Garen were in a very loud and heated football debate. Jayce was watching Vi’s gang with disgust. Ahri was meticulously combing through the fur of her tails and Evelynn was examining her nails with a blank look.
“Yes.” Caitlyn nodded.
Vi and Caitlyn met each other’s gaze, openly defiant. Judge them. Judge me. I dare you.

Summary
Caitlyn, a newly pledged hunter, is tasked with bringing the corpse of a vampire back to Piltover in hopes of finding a cure for vampirism, a disease running rampant in the undercity. After an encounter with a vampire who follows none of the rules she learned in training, she is forced to form an alliance for the sake of her people. Despite their differences and the ever present fear of betrayal; Vi and Caitlyn must come together to uncover the secrets of the lanes and, eventually, each other.

Caitlyn raced after her wife, taking two steps at a time as she made it up the stairs only seconds behind Vi. She paused when she eyed the open door of their bedroom warily and looked around not seeing a trace of her wife.
She entered the bedroom and froze; her eyes scanned the room, trying to find Vi’s new hiding place. Caitlyn took a few steps towards the bed, trying to be as quiet as possible, while their daughter's laughter echoed downstairs.
Suddenly the wooden floor creaked, “Gotcha,” Caitlyn heard Vi whisper.
Vi’s breath tickled the back of Caitlyn’s neck as she pressed her body close against hers.
A shiver ran down Caitlyn’s spine when Vi pressed the gun against her back. Caitlyn raised her arms slowly in surrender. “Okay,” she admitted. “You win. I’m all out of ammo anyway.”
But before Vi could move, Caitlyn spun on her heel. Now facing Vi, she grabbed hold of her wife’s gun and twisted it away from her. In shock, Vi lost her grip as Caitlyn pointed the Nerf gun at her with one hand.
“Tsk, tsk,” Caitlyn teased. “Rule one: Never let your guard down.”
Vi chuckled as she raised her hands in defeat. “You got me,” she admitted.

Vi looks at the big clock on the far wall. 7:46AM. She’s one minute late today. Every morning for the past six months - well, every morning Vi’s been on shift, so she’s just assuming about the other days - she’s passed by at exactly 7:45AM, always at a brisk walk, always in a perfectly-tailored suit, not a single long, silky-looking hair out of place.
7:47AM. The crisp clack of heeled boots on concrete pulls Vi out of her musings. There must have been some sort of emergency, because the subject of Vi’s (minor) obsession walks past the fire station at a faster clip than normal. Which is sort of saying something, because Mystery Woman’s got legs for days, long and slender, visibly toned with long, lean muscle through her suit pants. At the faster clip, Vi has less time to admire her ass and tiny, tiny waist as she walks by, but that’s fine, because the view as she leaves is fantastic.

The passenger gave her a quick glance, gray eyes partly hidden beneath a swoop of red — no, cherry pink, almost mistakable for red under poor lighting — a hairstyle that surprisingly passed their dress code.
“You’re Vi?” Caitlyn continued when the other girl didn’t react. “I’m sure you know who I am.”
Vi nodded, her eyes finding attraction somewhere else, beyond the car window. The tension Caitlyn tried to pretend wasn’t there settled in the small confines of the station car, building up like a slowly condensing glass, aggravated by the fact that she was having a monologue for two.

“It has to be a concussion,” Caitlyn murmurs under her breath.
Vi rolls her eyes at her dramatics, picking up her bag and throwing the strap over her shoulder before hopping out.
Caitlyn leans her head against the rest behind her, closing her eyes and clenching her long digits around the leather wheel.
Vi leans back down into the car, her hand on the roof as she pokes her head back in. “You don’t have to give me an answer now. Just… think about it.”
She finally shuts the door, leaving Caitlyn to do what she does best.
Caitlyn takes a while to pull away, but as soon as The Last Drop’s door shuts behind Vi, she’s gone.💌💙💘💌
Caitlyn and Vi are trying to juggle responsibilities, insecurities, family issues and their futures all at once when Caitlyn's old love letters accidentally get out and show them a new way of living.
