Summary
Kon took a step back, prepared to make his grand escape, when he backed up right into a solid figure behind him. He turned quickly, shrinking down with an audible intake of breath, standing below the towering figure of none other than Superman himself. He wore a peculiar look on his face, eyebrows slightly furrowed, lip pulled back into what could have been mistaken as a smile, but only seemed full of forced politeness.
And then Kon heard the strange rumbling sound coming right from the center of Superman’s throat. Kon shrunk back, but this time, put himself right behind Superman and out of sight of the press.

After that, Kon practically disappeared. Robin knew he hadn’t left the base because, well, his tracker location was still at the base, but Robin hadn’t really sought him out. If he needed or wanted some space after that, it was perfectly fine with Robin. A kind of berating like that would leave anyone wanting some space to work it out.
But as it was, Robin happened to find Kon sitting in the lounge area, it was unclear what he was doing as the television was off and the room was even slightly dimmed.

After a mission kind of goes wrong Kon ends up regressing when they get back to the base and Robin comforts him

Summary
For once everything was going pretty good. No soft guilty looks, no messing things up only for Clark to sigh heavily with barely restrained frustration, no stilted awkward conversations that left Conner wanting to hide under his bed for the rest of the night because he didn’t know how to get along with Clark. Everything was going well.
And then Conner flung a big rake full of leaves right at Clark, who had moved to the other side of the leaf pile before Conner had noticed. To make things worse, Conner, in his shock, let go of the rake, only for it to hit Clark in the back of the head.

Clark and Conner rake leaves together and some of Conner's insecurities come rear their ugly heads.

“What the hell are you doing here?” Tim snapped, but still stepped away from the window to allow Kon the space to drop unceremoniously into his third-floor bedroom, flopping right down onto the floor with his hands barely outstretched to catch him before he got a mouthful of carpet.

It’s really nice to know that both of their families watch out for one another no matter who it is. Clark would do anything for any member of Bruce’s family and even know he won’t admit it, Bruce would do the exact same for his.
Or, Kon nearly runs himself down to the ground with worry after Tim gets hospitalised and the Batfam are there to make sure he actually takes care of himself.

For a while, all he could hear was a faint ringing. The ringing turned into buzzing, the buzzing turned into static, and the static turned into voices. He recognized Sam's first, concerned but trying to hide it.
“Should we call someone?” He asked. It felt like such a Sam thing to ask that he nearly laughed. He felt hysterical and volatile at the same time.
“Who exactly would we call? The police? The government?” Zemo’s voice sounded like nails on a chalkboard, like teeth grinding together, like electricity coursing through his skull. He flinched at the sound, despite his best efforts to keep it together.In which Zemo triggers Bucky on purpose and Sam does his best to pick up the pieces.
