Katsuki's heart clenched in his chest and he turned back to the mirror—this time to apply eyeliner as he fought the urge to kiss his fiancé senseless.

“So cold, Dream.” George shuffled closer, and between one breath and the next he was in Dream’s space. His face was the first thing to make contact, shooting a spark through Dream’s bloodstream as he pushed his nose into his chest. Then he sagged forward, all of his weight pushing Dream back into the counter, shivering arms coming up to clutch at the back of his shirt.
Dream was so startled by all of it that he just lifted his arms, hovering them over George’s shoulders. “George,” he said, feeling the sharp chill seep into his skin at every point of contact, “you’re hugging me.”
What would happen if George filmed his “Beating Minecraft Before I Freeze” video when he got to Florida? A lot of cuddles, apparently, and maybe something more.

Maybe.” The words were right there, sitting heavy on his tongue. He had to balance them precariously, speak around them so they wouldn’t fall from his lips. “Maybe.”
Five times George is too far away for Dream to say “I’m in love with you,” and one time he’s right in front of him.

All things considered, the words shouldn’t have surprised George—most of the time in bed, he preferred to lay back, leaving his boyfriend to do most of the work. It was something they both enjoyed, and sure, they switched it up sometimes, but more often than not, that was how it was. He supposed he was kind of a pillow princess.
The words weren’t just surprising, though. No, they were arousing. Dream was good at dirty talk, George knew that, but something about the idea of being Dream’s princess, not prince, was ridiculously fucking hot. It wasn’t a gender thing, George was confident in his gender identity, but he liked being pretty. Delicate, even. A princess.

But he also doesn’t want that, admittedly. The soothing of everything in their busy lives at the placement of being tucked into his friend’s chest, it’s just too good. And if he did want to place a platonic wedge into their closeness, there’d have to be a conversation held.
Because Dream is guilty of pressing close just as much as he is, he can’t one day go stiff at hands pulling at him. He can’t go back to sleeping alone.
