Summary
Jimmy grows unexpectedly violent towards Curly in a moment of disappointment, frustration, and resentment. All this over a promised beer he’d lost at the hands of a simple misjudgment of the time the two men had spent together on a late-night workout at their local gym seemed excessive. But, the more hits are landed and threats are made, it takes Curly less and less effort to see through the various layers of aggression and bitterness in Jimmy’s actions and words. Realizing the sheer number of grudges underneath it all could have been of aid in attempts of trying to somewhat reason with his friend, but that doesn’t take long to reveal itself as a far from easily accomplished feat.
