Team MZ has made a tradition of throwing a little get together at Hotel Z once a month since the incident with Ange to bring everyone who saved the city together again. Corbeau makes the effort to show up every time. Now, a year after everything, someone he would rather not see is back in Lumiose. L sits alone at the edge of the courtyard, and Corbeau forces himself to have a conversation with the man with his mentor's face.

Summary
Five Pebbles has to visit Harassment, to pick up some pearls. Which would be all well and good, if his littermate Monk didn't suddenly start refusing to travel with him, despite the fact that Five Pebbles has explained reincarnation and iterators to them, countless times over. And now he has to spend an expended period of time with nobody but Harassment for company.
Maybe forming relationships with new people isn't worth it.
(Or: Five Pebbles and No Significant Harassment attempt to define their relationship, and maybe learn some things along the way.)
