“I — ” Eren begins, “We — ” he tries to explain.
“We didn’t think you of all people would care,” Jean finishes for him.
Eren and Jean exchange nervous glances but remain silent. Levi’s patience is wearing incredibly thin. “You’ve been sneaking around like a pair of fools for months. Everyone knows what’s going on, given how often you’ve been caught. Frankly, I don’t give a rat’s ass what you do in your free time, but it’s affecting your focus. At the very least, have the decency not to get caught.”
Or, five times Eren and Jean get caught being more than friends and the one time Captain Levi’s had enough.

It’s almost like fate when Wade finds himself tied up as obscenely as possible in the seatbelts, legs bound under the knees and spread as far as they will go and then some, wrists tied together and stretched above his head against the car wall, leaving him vulnerable and helpless. Wolverine presses between his thighs, all rage and muscle and claw, panting above him, his teeth bared in feral joy at finally having Wade at his mercy. The rippling muscles in the fucktard’s arms as he cages Wade in is doing something awful to his scrambled, heat-sliced nerves, and he tugs and strains against the Odyssey’s seatbelts to no avail. Fuck the Kia, even the seatbelts in this car are plot-armour reinforced.

Leo’s skin tans with the sun. Vincent learns to make proper chilaquiles for breakfast, with eggs from a couple of hens he doesn’t really remember them getting. They pick avocados and make guacamole with too much lime juice. Vincent’s shoulders break out in freckles from spending so much time outside, and Leo makes fun of him, endlessly, gently.
Or: Vincent and Leo take a leap of faith, and build their lives anew.

In Leo’s fantasies, Vincent is rough.
To be fair, it’s not a huge stretch. He’s seen him hold his own in a fight, has seen him handle a gun like a pro and move fast as hell when he wants to. It isn’t hard to imagine that under his typical cool, calm demeanour, he’s got a fire in him that could burn Leo alive if he pushed hard enough.
And god, does Leo want to push.

As they evade the law yet again, Leo finds that it’s getting harder and harder to ignore how much he’s drawn to Vincent. He wants him--but it’s an impossible fantasy, and he isn’t going to let that ruin things between them.

I'm sad to announce this is on hiatus for the moment. New chapters might still come, but even slower than they came so far. I really am sorry, I love this fanfic and this universe and y'all are sweeties, but I really can't do things any other way atm.
Snippets with alternating POVs about 'Creep<3' and 'the babe' from Jaeger Royale trying to make it work IRL, between terrible friends, my own godawful sense of humor, an AU setting that is way too big for such a silly little thing, and some more sombre moments focusing mostly on all the ways the both of them are 'balls of issues' (quot. Armin). Will update whenever, if I give precise deadlines my crippling fear of commitment will kick in immediately.
Or, alternatively: so many of you were pumped for a sequel to Jaeger Royale. Please don't be pumped about stuff I write. I almost never take it the direction it was supposed to go.
